Blk 85 Bedok North Street 4 has a famous “food paradise”, also known as “Fengshan Centre” (凤山中心).
There are many hawkers selling the same types of food, so you just have to try all to find out which is the best.
The chicken wings and satay at “Chong Pang Huat” are quite yummy. I love how moist the chicken wings are, and that they nicely ‘burnt’.
The Sambal Stingray, Sambal fried rice and Stir-fried kailan were from the same stall and cost S$23 (for 2 pax). I wasn’t very pleased with the stir-fried kailan as it was rather bland. The sambal fried rice and stingray, on the other hand, were better!
Will definitely be back again to try out the other stalls since most of the time I come here for the Chai Chee Pork Porridge, and I’m seriously not a fan of the over-rated bar chor mee.
