비빔밥 (Bibimbap) is a Korean dish literally meaning “mixed rice” and is actually quite easy to make at home. I like how we can just dump everything together in a bowl and toss and turn to mix everything out evenly like playing masak-masak. (For those of you who don’t know what is “masak-masak”, it’s actually a singlish word. The original meaning in Malay is cooking, where in the past, young girls like to pretend to cook with toy utensils. Hence, it is generally used to refer to children playing with toys gradually, not just limited to cooking.)

Too bad the gochujang (hot pepper paste) is not too spicy, or it will be even more ‘yummylicious’!

Maybe I should try making bibimbap next time since I found this video from YouTube which looks relatively easy!
